Tongyi TRW50 Heat Pumps Deliver Hot Water for CapitaSpring Citadines in Singapore
2026-06-25
CapitaSpring Citadines, a premium serviced apartment complex owned by CapitaLand, completed its central hot water renovation project in Singapore with four units of Tongyi TRW50 commercial heat pumps installed to replace outdated electric heating equipment. This project sets a green energy reference for high-end hospitality real estate in tropical urban areas.
Singapore enforces rigorous energy conservation and Green Mark standards for residential and serviced apartment buildings. The original electric water heaters generated excessive electricity costs and heavy carbon emissions, failing to match CapitaLand’s long-term ESG and carbon reduction plans. Faced with round-the-clock hot water demand from numerous guests, the property required stable, low-energy heating equipment that could adapt to tropical working conditions.
Four modular Tongyi TRW50 heat pumps were deployed for the central hot water system. Equipped with high-efficiency inverter compressors and eco-friendly R32 refrigerant, the TRW50 series maintains excellent COP all year round. The parallel modular design allows automatic load distribution among four units, flexibly coping with peak and off-peak hot water consumption without extra energy loss. Built-in intelligent remote monitoring enables real-time data tracking, temperature regulation and fault self-check, greatly simplifying daily operation and maintenance work for property management teams.
After operation, the system provides constant hot water supply for all guest rooms at all hours. Power consumption is substantially reduced, cutting the property’s monthly energy expenses and lifting its green building evaluation score. This successful installation creates a replicable energy-saving template for serviced apartments across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
This cooperation strengthens Tongyi’s partnership with CapitaLand Group. The brand will keep upgrading heat pump models suited to tropical climates and supply reliable low-carbon hot water solutions for global hospitality projects to advance regional carbon neutrality progress.
